
CHICAGO, IL -- Oct. 4, 2010 – Congressman Danny K. Davis discussed the exploration of his candidacy for Mayor of Chicago on Jeffery M. Leving's Radio Show.
"As a result of discussions with a large number of individual citizens, groups, elected officials and clergy from a diverse section of the city, I have decided to formally explore the possibility of running for Mayor of Chicago," said Congressman Davis.
Leving commented, "I'm honored to sit down again with Congressman Davis whom I've done a lot of work with – especially for the numerous responsible fatherhood initiatives he has supported over the years.”
The mayoral election for Chicago is February 22, 2011.
